MEM Scepter is in search of a full-time hybrid/onsite outpatient therapist to see a caseload of 25 patients per week. Clinical supervision is available, including group supervision. MEM Scepter Home and Behavioral Health Care, LLC is an outpatient mental health center that services patients from the age of 6, to include addiction treatment. Our organization is looking for 2-3 therapist to fill this role due to the caseload, and at least one applicant to feel comfortable working with children. 

MEM Scepter will offer a competitive salary, including paid holidays and one floating holiday, flexible scheduling, and bonuses. Salary will be based upon experience and will be discussed with the applicant. 

As a Mental Health Counselor at MEM Scepter Home and Behavioral Health Care, LLC, you will be expected to perform the following duties:

  1. Conduct Patient Sessions: Meet with a minimum of 5 patients per day, providing counseling and therapeutic services in accordance with the treatment plans developed for each patient.
  2. Develop Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, assessing their needs, progress, and overall mental health.
  3. Maintain Accurate Records: Document patient progress, treatment notes, and any relevant information in compliance with HIPAA and other confidentiality requirements.
  4. Provide Telehealth Services: Offer remote counseling services as needed, utilizing a secure and private environment for virtual sessions.
  5. Collaborate with Other Healthcare Providers: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and psychiatrists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  6. Maintain Confidentiality: Adhere to all relevant HIPAA guidelines and regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  7. Attend Team Meetings: Participate in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to discuss patient care, professional development, and organizational goals.
  8. Engage in Continued Professional Development: Pursue ongoing professional education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest therapeutic techniques and industry standards.
  9. Provide Crisis Intervention: Respond to and manage mental health crises as they arise, utilizing appropriate clinical interventions to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  10. Follow Company Policies and Procedures: Adhere to all organizational policies, ethical guidelines, and state regulations while providing patient care.
