Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as interpreter for People with Limited English Proficiency for different social services settings. Provide consecutive interpretation between English and Finnish.Listen to complete statements in one language, translate to second, and translate responses from second into first language.Express either approximate or exact translation, depending on nature of occasion.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Fluency in both the Finnish and English languages.Ability to read and write both languages.Listening skills.

Rate: $30/hr-$50/hr
