Dutch Interpreter

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as interpreter for People with Limited English Proficiency for different social services settings
• Provide consecutive interpretation between English and Dutch.
• Listen to complete statements in one language, translate to second, and translate responses from second into first language.
• Express either approximate or exact translation, depending on nature of occasion.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Fluency in both the Dutch and English languages.
• Ability to read and write both languages.
• Listening skills.

Job Types: Freelance/Independent Contractor

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
