Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Drill Operator/Locator to join our team. We are hiring for our Columbus, OH fiber to the home projects. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious with previous drill operation/locating experience and the ability to work with limited supervision.
 

Responsibilities 

• Drilling and placing underground conduit and structures
• Troubleshoot outages and determine the causes
• Occasional concrete/asphalt restoration
• Respond promptly to call-outs or notifications for service
• Report on all work completed, including any concerns, complications that arise, and reasons for delays

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a drill operator/locator
• Relevant training and/or certification is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with equipment such as Ditch Witch drills, vacuum excavators, and mini excavators
• Understanding of all federal safety regulations 
• Ability to read and understand prints
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time-management skills
