The Science Crew is a growing science education organization that is looking for part-time instructors that share our belief in the power of quality science education to positively impact the lives of students. 

• We enter classrooms (Ages 3 – 12) and present fun, unique and interesting science programs. (Majority of our classes are preschools)
• Every class is 100% student participation and hands-on based which lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. 
• We supply you with the lessons, the equipment, the supplies, and the support you need.
• Work is based out of your home, we bring supplies to you, you drive to school sites to conduct classes using your own car. - We reimburse you..

Perfect Job for a college student wanting to make some money this summer.

Job starts in Early June and is done at the end of August. 

Pay is based on how many classes you wish to teach but is equivalent to App: $25-$30/hr.  

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead fast paced classes in an organized and skillful manner.
• Control a class of high energy pre-school or elementary age students with high spirits.
• keeping kids engaged while teaching and supervising science experiments.

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license.
• Pass a local and national background check.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs. and have your own car to transport 1-2 totes of equipment and supplies to each class. We provide a cart for moving totes between car and schools.
• Must have reliable Internet access and cell phone to communicate with us via email and text daily.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Early Childhood or Elementary Education experience.
