Position Summary:
- Under direct supervision, provides service to customer at site locations. Conducts routine, moderately complex preventative maintenance, moderate to high level trouble-shooting and repairing of Chemical Abatement units and vacuum pumps. This job description is intended to describe the overall nature and scope of the position.
Illustrative Duties:
- Ability to troubleshoot moderate to complex vacuum and or chemical abatement equipment at customer sites to include all preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, installations and start-ups. (Essential)
- Maintain, replace and troubleshoot equipment, tools, and supplies used directly for the service of equipment. (Essential)
- Provides documentation of preventative maintenance, down time, issues and time spent preparing reports for and justification for on-site service. (Essential).
- Assist in all functions required in the operations of a field service team. Assist and/or provide service back-up to other customer sites as necessary. (Essential)
- Maintains clean and safe working environment compliant with ADVACO safety policies. Complies with all ADVACO safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential)
- Provides high level of Quality Documentation support to include but not limited to documentation review and changes to support procedural and process changes. (Essential)
- Performs other duties as assigned. (Non-essential)
Education:
- Associates Degree/ Bachelor Degree in Electronics, Engineering from an accredited University or College, or combination of experience vs education (Essential)
Experience:
- Four – Six years of service experience, preferably in the semiconductor or related industry.
- High level of proficiency with hand tools and digital volt meter.
- Moderate to High Level working knowledge of electromechanical skills to include pneumatics, power, PLC knowledge.
- Demonstrate knowledge of computer systems including software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Explorer.
- Demonstrated strong leadership ability and teamwork skills. Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills to customer and site personnel.
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and 5s processes and ability to champion team projects with high level of communication and direction.
Capabilities:
- Ability to work in a semiconductor clean room environment
- Ability to pass medical monitoring requirements to use air purifying equipment.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays to include carrying on call Field Service phone, when required.
- Must be open to working any shift/schedule
- The ability to perform the identified essential functions of the classification, including the operation of any machinery and/or equipment that is associated with performing the essential functions.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
