Hamlin Equipment Rental is a local family owned business that has been actively contributing to the construction rental industry for over 32 years. Our primary goal, is to offer outstanding customer service through our employees and the equipment we offer. Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a full-time mechanic to join our team.

Compensation:

Salary negotiable depending on experience. Generous benefit packing including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance. 401k with profit share.

Requirements:

· Must be hardworking, honest, reliable, and able to work with little, to no, supervision.

· Must have small engine and equipment repair knowledge as well as general hardware knowledge.

· Must have the ability to evaluate and repair small engines related to the construction industry. Items to include, but not limited to, demo saws, skid steers, excavators, gas and diesel UTVs, and other related equipment.

· Must have experience operating a fork lift and construction related equipment.

· Required to perform preventative maintenance and repair on all shop equipment, tools, and trucks.

· Responsible for reporting all equipment breakdowns and malfunctions to management.

· Must have exceptional organizational skills, be productive and time-oriented, able to prioritize tasks, and work independently.

· Completes all reports and forms required, in conjunction with work assignments.

· Required to perform other duties outside of the scope of work as assigned.

· Required to maintain a safe, clean and orderly work station.

Qualifications:

· You are required to have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and to respond to questions from vendors, workers, and management.

· Operate forklift to move parts and equipment throughout the shop and yard.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Clean driving record.

Typical Physical Requirements:

· Sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping.

· Lift or move tools, equipment, or materials up to 80 pounds.

· Inside at shop 90% of the time, some travel required for service calls.
