We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. This role involves conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing training and support to families and staff. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for our clients through evidence-based practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
  • Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results.
  • Implement and monitor treatment plans, making necessary adjustments based on client progress.
  • Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques.
  • Collect and analyze research data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated on best practices in behavioral health and ABA methodologies.

Requirements

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Medicaid Provider Number
  • Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles, including applied behavior analysis.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health.
  • Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments.
  • Ability to collect and analyze research data effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
  • A compassionate approach towards working with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders.
