Summary Statement:
A Case Manager is an important cog in the Hospital Support Service, Inc. (HSS) engine. This position is responsible for managing one or more hospitals/clients. Cases assigned to HSS will be managed up until the point of acquiring Medical Assistance (MA). Interaction with the Client, Department of Social Services, Social Security Offices, and Field Staff is necessary with each case. Time management and organization are essential to performing your duties. Accurate data entry and up to date records are required to do this job.
Assigned Responsibilities or Duties:
· Data entry of each case into the HSS data base
· Review of cases to determine MA category
· Determination of time frame to complete case
· Timely forward cases to be assigned to field staff when necessary
· Request Medical Records (MR) from Hospitals and submit them for timely review
· Contact all patients to screen for eligibility for MA
· Update HSS database as new information comes in on each case
· Follow up with Case Workers to get MA on-line
· Review and Process all cases that are submitted by the field staff for payment
· Other duties as seen necessary

Mondays through Thursday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Fridays 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Tuesdays through Thursday work location - Office
Fridays and Mondays work location - Remote
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
