Responsibilities:

• Support the mission, vision, and culture of the organization through positive communication with team members
• Perform food deliveries on schedule while maintaining regular attendance
• Picking up meals at our kitchen daily and driving them to assigned route destinations
• Follow mapped-out driving routes to ensure timely arrival at sites
• Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for by the recipient
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
• Perform routine inspection of route vehicle and equipment at sites to ensure their safety and cleanliness
• The company will pay for the required TB test upon hire

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a criminal fingerprint and background check
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (DMV check will be ran)
• Must speak, read, and understand English to follow assigned routes and read food labels.
• Physically able to lift 40-50 pounds
• Must be able to follow instructions and remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• A team-oriented mindset; willingness to cover open shifts if needed
• Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience in route driving or courier work is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
