Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Driving Instructor to join our team. As a Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students the necessary skills and knowledge to become safe and confident drivers, as well as conducting a State accredited road test. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals' lives by helping them develop essential driving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct driving lessons with students, both in-car and in-classroom settings

- Teach students the rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and safe driving practices

- Provide clear and constructive feedback to students on their driving performance

- Develop personalized lesson plans based on individual student needs and progress

- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for students during lessons

- Maintain accurate records of student progress and lesson plans

Experience:

- Previous experience working with students, preferably in an educational or instructional setting

- a Minimum of 15 years of driving experience

- Strong driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to effectively educate and engage students of various ages and backgrounds

- Experience in classroom management techniques is a plus

- Familiarity with adult education principles is beneficial

-Bilingual is not necessary, but a plus!

Note: This is a paid position. Training rate is $17/hour. After training is completed pay is $19/hour to start.
