We are seeking a skilled and motivated Water Softener and Water Filtration Service Technician/Installer to join our Long Island Clean Water Service team. The primary role of this position is to install, service, and maintain water softening and filtration systems for residential and commercial customers. We will train you.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience and/or interview. Benefits include health insurance and more.

Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in plumbing-related installations and service. If not that, then at least 1 year experience in any hands-on mechanical trade. 

Other Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:
• Travel: Frequent travel to customer sites for installations and servicing, driving in our company vans.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:
• Install water softeners, filtration systems, reverse osmosis systems, and other water treatment equipment in residential and commercial locations.
• Ensure proper placement, configuration, and installation of systems according to manufacturer specifications and client needs.

Maintenance & Servicing:
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on water softening and filtration systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues with installed systems, ensuring optimal performance and water quality.
• Replace filters, check water pressure, inspect for leaks, and perform water quality tests to assess system functionality.
