Westgro is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven individual with experience restoring Pacific Northwest native habitats to work in the field with us on public projects. Candidates should have experience providing native landscape and wetland buffer restoration and maintenance services. Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of northwest natives and invasives, establishment planning and execution, controls both mechanical and chemical. Must possess a Wa. St. Pesticide Applicators License with an Aquatic Endorsement. You should have the ability to lead a crew through example, manage multiple sites, practice positive communication, understand and put into practice strategic planning, understand soils, native and wetland areas and the impact of our actions or lack thereof.
Habitat loss is the leading cause of ecosystem decline and the loss of species. We support conservation of viable habitat while working with our partners to restore degraded habitat through small urban projects to larger rural settings throughout the greater Puget Sound area.
