Job Description/Position Details:

As a professional driving instructor, you will teach behind the wheel instruction following instructional guidelines from the State of California DMV to complete a required Behind the Wheel Driving curriculum as well as meeting the instructional goals of Car-diology Driving School. This position is a great fit for college students and teachers!

Responsibilities:

Pickup and drop off students at home with our company provided vehicle. You will be teaching teens how to drive from zero experience to some experience and adult students from time to time. Provide excellent customer service and feedback of all lessons. You will have our student checklist as a guide to provide feedback.

Location:

Car-diology Driving School is located in San Ramon, California. Driving instruction will take place all over the bay area with a company provided vehicle.

Availability Needed:

We are seeking instructors for after school hours on weekdays (Mon-Fri 3:45pm-8:30pm) and weekends. Weekends are a must but times are flexible. 15-30 hours per week. Can lead to full time. $24-25/hr depending on experience.

The ideal candidate for this position will:
- have an interest in teaching the practical skills of driving
- enjoys helping others develop their abilities
- has lots of patience

Any candidates considered for this position will need the following:
- Be at least 21 years of age (Department of Motor Vehicles requirement, 25 or older preferred)
- Must be dependable
- Must complete provided training course.
- Must have H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- Possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License.
- Must have a clean DMV and criminal record
- Must pass background investigation, medical evaluation, and instructor examination through Department of Motor Vehicles which we will help with.
