The Graphic Designer position focuses on the production and maintenance of a conceptual design program that helps increase sales volume and sets us apart from our competitors.

 Primary Responsibilities

  • Create conceptual designs for all signage including ADA.
  • Determine what type and style of signage is to be drawn to fit within constraints of different municipalities with the direction of the sales team.
  • Ability to create conceptual designs in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to use multiple computer software packages.
  • Create production drawings for ADA signage.
  • Color matching and cross reference ability.
  • Maintains cooperative working relationships with other staff members in all departments.
  • Managing Workflow Tasks & Updates in Insightly to meet deadlines.
  • Determine and request Sale Rep Assistance as needed.
  • Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a daily Calendar for internal sharing and communication.

Success Factors

The Graphic Designer shall be deemed to be performing in an acceptable manner when the following have been accomplished:

  • Anticipated completion times are met or exceeded.
  • Standard quality of artwork is met or exceeded.
  • ADA production drawings are well laid out and accurate.

Applicant Requirements

  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated
  • General knowledge of construction plans/drawings, engineering and sign manufacturing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Corel Draw, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Must have mechanical and structural knowledge of signs (materials, lighting and installation methods)
