Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety, and leading a team of culinary professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Plan and create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management to minimize waste and ensure availability of ingredients.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings.

Skills

  • Strong background in food service management with experience in supervising kitchen staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry.
  • Experience in fine dining establishments preferred, with an emphasis on high-quality presentation and flavor profiles.
  • Proficient in shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Familiarity with bartending is a plus, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with customers.

Pay: $1,200.00 - $2,000.00 per week
