Zilmet is the world’s largest manufacturer of steel expansion tanks and well tanks located in Italy. We are opening the first Zilmet USA factory in Andrews, South Carolina, specifically to supply the US industry. This is an opportunity to impact a brand new manufacturing operation that has future expansion potential. Work with a team to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing processes for quality production of steel pressure vessels. Reports to Engineering Manager. 

The position: We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to perform the following: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Support manufacturing operations for planned product output - Cross functional communication - Develop and document efficient manufacturing processes - Ensure safety in all parts of plant operations - Hands-on ability to troubleshoot equipment in real time - Create and implement preventive maintenance requirements 

Requirements/Skills/Qualifications: - B.S. Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or similar) preferred - Three (3) years of experience in production line operations - Knowledge of manufacturing quality processes such as: o Hydraulic steel press o Plastics molding o MIG welding o Assembly process flow o Paint systems o Robotic systems 

Physical Requirements: - Ability to communicate well orally and written with co-workers and vendors - Good manual dexterity is required for interaction with tooling and equipment - Some heavy lifting is expected with occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds
