Saint Michael's Home Care is looking to bring on a new Registered Nurse to the Saint Michael's Home Care Team! Our RN would be responsible for overseeing client care plans, oversight of CNAs and Home Health Aides, ongoing hands-on training and skill assessment for new hires, and performing client assessments on an as-needed basis. This is a position with a great deal of flexibility with hours both in the office and in the field. A good candidate would have an outgoing personality, a friendly disposition, the ability to manage several items at the same time, and a great communicator. We are looking to hire ASAP for the right candidate!

Responsibilities:

• - Make 10-15 In-Home visits with Saint Michael’s Home Care clients per week
• - Assess client’s condition (blood pressure, physical mobility, ADL’s, bedsores, etc) and document in notes
• - Discuss with client/family members how the client is doing and if the client has any physical/cognitive concerns
• - Create care plans for caregivers to follow when working with a client and make changes when necessary
• -Communicate with Office Staff following each visit and report on any action items that may require attention
• - Help instruct caregivers on proper technique for transfers and other client ADL’s
• - Look over current client care notes daily and make adjustments/additions to client care plan when needed
• - Conduct hands-on training for new hires and when needed, as well as annual training for all staff

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Saint Michael's Home Care is a licensed Home Health Agency in North Florida. We have CNAs and Home Health Aides that provide In Home Care to Seniors who want to age in place, as well as those who are recovering from an illness or injury.
