We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various clinical procedures. This role is essential in ensuring the overall health and satisfaction of our patients while promoting good oral hygiene practices.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical records and taking vital signs.
  • Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain optimal oral health.
  • Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Assist dentists during examinations and various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Manage pediatric patients with care and compassion, ensuring a positive experience for young clients.
  • Utilize medical imaging techniques as needed to assist in diagnostics and treatment planning.
  • Uphold strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Requirements

  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with familiarity in Eaglesoft being a plus.
  • Strong skills in patient care, assessment, and communication.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
  • Knowledge of medical records management and basic dental assisting tasks is advantageous.
  • Compassionate approach towards pediatrics and ability to engage with patients of all ages.
  • Commitment to continuing education and staying current with industry standards and practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
