Organization Overview Hued Songs produces performances and experiences that amplify Black culture, Black creativity, and Black Belonging. The Role: We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to be the administrative backbone of our performance operations. This role combines logistics coordination, venue relations, and marketing support to ensure smooth execution of both our mainstage productions and commissioned engagements. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment where attention to detail meets creative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Program Support & Operations:
- Support day-to-day coordination of performances and programs
- Maintain project schedules and assist with timeline management
- Track project tasks and deadlines using project management tools
- Assist in coordinating teams including artists, technical staff, and partners
- Help prepare rehearsal reports and documentation
- Support vendor coordination and communications
Earned Revenue & Partnership Support:
- Help manage inquiries for commissioned performances and special engagements
- Assist in maintaining partnership relationships
- Support logistics coordination for bespoke performances and events
- Help track earned revenue data and prepare basic reports
- Maintain organized records of partnership communications and agreements
- Support the development of performance proposals and quotes
Performance Administration:
- Process and track venue contracts and requirements
- Manage performance-related insurance documentation
- Coordinate with venues on technical specifications and requirements
- Maintain organized digital files for all performance documentation
- Track and process artist paperwork and agreements
- Ensure all necessary permits and certifications are current
- Maintain updated venue contact lists
- Help maintain asset library of photos, videos, and marketing materials
- Help maintain performance calendar across all platforms
- Coordinate with artists, production, and designers on program creation and printing
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of arts/cultural project management or program experience
- Strong organizational and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent follow-up and follow-through. You’re persistent about getting the information you need to get the job done from start to finish.
- Proficiency with project management and productivity tools
- Strong cultural competency and understanding of BIPOC arts communities
- Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information effectively
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed
- Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges
- Creative, generative, and forward thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in customer service or client relations
- Background in event production or stage management
- Tech savvy with experience with communication tools (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn)
- Interest in arts administration and performing arts
Working at Hued Songs
- Full-time (exempt)
- Salary: $42-45K annually

- Flexible hybrid work arrangement. We are a mostly remote team, meeting in person primarily for team huddles, 1:1s, and performances and events.
- Location: South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties)
- Some evening and weekend hours required for performances and events
