We are a small, busy, family-run custom workroom looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Assistant to help with various tasks related to the creation of custom window treatments and home decorating products. This is a part-time position with flexible hours that may vary based on job performance and workload.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in measuring fabric and materials for drapery, curtains, and other home decor items.
• Cut and pin fabrics according to specifications.
• Press fabrics to ensure a smooth, polished finish.
• Assist with general prep work for drapery and home decorating projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Take direction well and work independently on assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the timely completion of orders.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail is a must; we take pride in our quality craftsmanship.
• Must be neat and organized in all aspects of the job.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Sewing skills are a plus, but not required. Willingness to learn and develop these skills is appreciated.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
