Job Summary
We are seeking detail-oriented and knowledgeable Bilingual Tax Preparers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and small businesses, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax situations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
• Analyze financial information to ensure accurate reporting of income, deductions, and credits.
• Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks and Sage to manage client accounts efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and changes in tax law.
• Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations and provide guidance on tax planning strategies.
• Review financial documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak tax season.

Requirements

• Experience as a Tax Preparer or similar role is preferred but we are willing to train if no experience.
• You must be able to satisfy the requirements to obtain a PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number).
• Experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent typing skills, including 10-key typing proficiency.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High School Diploma or GED
