Covenant Presbyterian Church is seeking a new team member to join our Facility staff. This person should be excited to be part of a team, motivated, respectful, and ready to serve those around them. This person should also have availability to work some weekends.

Principal Function
The Assistant Facilities Manager works directly with the Facility Manager in order to ensure a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment. This role will include some weekends dependent upon the church schedule, so flexibility of schedule is imperative.
Specific Responsibilities
Facilities Maintenance
- Maintain current and future facilities in a Class A state of readiness for all events
- Maintain standard operating procedures (work routines) in conjunction with the facilities
- Work with Facility Manager to maintain adequate cleaning and supplies
- Manage facility cleaning crew
Facility/Grounds Operations
- Using the "Task List and Events Schedule" to make sure all scheduled events run smoothly
- Assist with set up and break down of events
- Assist in Wednesday night preparation and clean up
- Maintain flexibility so that unforeseen issues can be corrected for the benefit of the staff and congregation
- Maintain an overall clean and neat appearance in the building by way of painting, waxing, and extraction. These are quarterly actions based on the building's availability.
- Work with Facilities Manager to obtain and maintain working knowledge of all facility equipment and systems.
- Work with various vendors
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
Knowledge
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and the proper use of chemicals and equipment
- Knowledge of HVAC/Emergency systems and all facility related equipment and systems
