Club Description
Founded in 1926, Hillview Country Club is a 98-year-old, privately owned, private club located just south of Indianapolis. The club hosts Indiana Golf Association and Junior Events each year and has approximately 22,000 rounds annually. Hillview is the home course of the University of Indianapolis’ Men’s and Women’s golf teams, as well as Franklin College’s Men’s golf team.
Hillview is committed to the continual improvement of the facility with past capital projects spanning the last decade including a brand-new short game facility, Billy Bunker system in all green side bunkers, renovated restaurant (Lou’s Den), two new pickle ball courts, renovated locker rooms, renovated bathrooms, renovated golf shop, renovated banquet room, improved cart paths, new tee boxes, among many other small improvements.

Job Description
Golf Operations Mission Statement: To offer our members and their guests an unparalleled golf experience by utilizing a well-trained professional staff focused on providing personal, courteous, and first-class service in a clean, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere within the state-of-the-art facilities and championship golf course.
The successful candidate will be first and foremost responsible for executing all areas of the daily golf experience. Additional areas of responsibility or participation are listed, but not limited to, assistant tournament director, Operation 36 assistant director, golf instruction / club fitting, ladies & couples golf assistant, and playing golf with the membership.
Experience Required
The successful candidate must be passionate about creating and facilitating an exceptional golf experience for our members and guests. Specific traits or skills that will lead to success are, attention to service details, strong interpersonal skills, loyalty & commitment to operation and club, ability to facilitate and operate all details in the club’s tournament schedule, junior golf and instruction experience with individuals and in clinic settings, and a desire to further their career in golf.
Compensation
$15-$17 / hour (40 hours/ week)
100% of golf clinics & lessons ($4,000-$6,000)
Benefits
Staff uniforms, % off meals, possible equipment staff deal with preferred vendor, PGA dues paid, PGA Show expenses paid, 401K offering (with club match %), health insurance stipend, and unlimited playing & practice privileges. Placement at a preferred club for the winter season.
