Job Summary:
Shuttle Buddy is seeking a proactive and friendly Receptionist/Front Office Assistant to manage our front office operations and provide exceptional customer service. This position requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys interacting with customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the office during business and non-business hours (when there are scheduled trips), ensuring the office space is tidy and well-stocked, and supporting daily administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management:
  • Open and close the office according to scheduled business hours.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized office, including ensuring supplies (office, bathroom, and refreshment bar) are stocked and in good condition.
  • Notify management when supplies need replenishment or when there are any office maintenance issues.
  • Customer Service:
  • Greet and assist customers who visit the office.
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Book customer trips via phone, email, and in person, ensuring all necessary details are captured accurately.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Maintain and update bus logs, ensuring accurate records for each trip.
  • Organize and file customer and trip documents in an orderly system.
  • Assist with managing email and other communications.
  • Marketing & Promotional Support:
  • Participate in marketing and promotional events to increase company visibility.
  • Help distribute flyers, attend events, and coordinate with other team members for special promotions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an office or receptionist role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment (phones, computers, printers) and software (e.g., MS Office or Google Suite).

Additional Information:

  • This position may require occasional flexibility to work non-business hours, specifically when a scheduled trip is planned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.50 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overnight shift
  • Weekends as needed
