Our company is growing rapidly and is searching for experienced candidates for the 
position of preventative maintenance technician. Please review the list of 
responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider 
candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient 
experience and talent.
Responsibilities for preventative maintenance technician
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC is preferred
• Identifies problems requiring maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment 
during inspection and repair process
• Make recommendations for cost effective repairs and operating cost reductions
• Communicate with internal customers, vendor service providers, peers and 
management
• Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work via the company’s record 
procedures
• Carry out daily check on the facility environmental monitoring and controlled 
conditions
• Complete accurate preventive maintenance records
• Initiate corrective maintenance notifications via SAP
• Notify Production Focus Teams failures detected in environmental monitoring and 
controlled conditions
Qualifications for preventative maintenance technician
• Agree to obtain a minimum of 2 ASE certifications, if you do not already possess 
these
• Must have an appropriate mechanic’s tool set - Tool allowance program available!
