Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and reliable Saturday morning dance instructor to join our team starting in January. This role involves teaching tap, ballet, and jazz classes to children ages 3–10, with a focus on creating a fun, nurturing environment while introducing fundamental dance skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging and age-appropriate dance classes for children ages 3–10.
• Choreograph routines for the spring recital.
• Manage classroom dynamics, addressing behaviors with patience and creativity.
• Foster a welcoming environment for new students and families.
• Incorporate child development principles into teaching methods.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years teaching young children dance in styles including Tap, Ballet, and Jazz.
• Reliability: Arrives early, prepared, and organized for every class.
• Professionalism: Maintains a neat appearance, is courteous and respectful, and represents Dance Express positively.
• Enthusiasm: Genuine love for teaching young children and ability to connect with students ages 3–10.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communicator with parents, students, and colleagues.
• Creativity and Patience: Ability to adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles and handle unexpected situations with a positive attitude.

Schedule: Saturday mornings
