We are looking for a full or part time teacher to head up our Monday through Friday child care program in our combine 2-5 year old childcare room. Responsibilities include planning their schedule, caring for their needs, and sharing the love of Jesus with them.

Expected hours: 5 – 35 per week  

Position could be year round (January thru December) or align with public school calendar (September - June).

Paid time off when school is not in session (approximately 6 weeks per year when year round)

4 paid personal days in addition

A teacher who will use play to further the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development of a child with the word of God and with curriculum approved or provided by the director of our preschool.  

To participate in planning and supervising daily activities in the classroom and provide parent updates regarding their child’s day and activities.

To convey clear behavioral expectations and maintain Christian discipline, address student problems and concerns in an organized, fair, and consistent manner, provide continuous supervision to children enrolled,  ensure health and safety of all children and maintain student records including daily sign-in and sign-out rosters.  

To attend events related to the center which occur outside of class time such as family nights, and open house. 

Associate Degree (Preferred not required)
Early childhood education: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification: 

 CPR Certification (Preferred)
Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred not required)
