We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant / Office Manager to help with our growing firm. Job responsibilities include:
This is full time during the months of February - April during tax season. Off season, the role is part-time as extension filers are handled. Work with a variety of clients and handle Q&A on a variety of tax situations.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Data Entry of Tax Data
- Audit Support & Documentation
- Schedule Client Appointments and Initial Consultations
- Full Bookkeeping for business and clients
- Data Organizing and Filing
- Regulatory Compliance & Contracts
- Ensuring meeting of Critical Deadlines
- Social Media and Advertising for new clients
Requirements:
1-3 Years of Accounting Experience or equivalent
Degree in Accounting is a plus
Good written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Tax Programs
Must be Dependable and adaptable to a shifting work schedule
Must be able to handle tight deadlines and be dependable
Salary: $20,000 to $30,000 Annually DOE
