Position Objective
The Floral Assistant/Shop Attendant will be responsible for 
Assisting with in-store customers
Taking Phone Orders
Cutting / trimming stems daily to ensure freshness and cleaning buckets
Prepare vessels/materials for designs
Ensure the “office/checkout” area is presentable at all times and end of day
Following opening and closing procedures
Organize cooler in consideration with daily deliveries to facilitate accurate and on time delivery
Assist with deliveries as needed
Receiving and processing supply shipments and fresh product
Merchandising

Job Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) 
1-2 Years Floral Industry Experience Preferred
Knowledge:
Basic Floral Knowledge
Seasonal Trends/Traditions
Skills:
Basic Floral Design
Strong Customer Service in a Retail Setting
Good Time Management, the ability to work unsupervised
The ability to prioritize conflicting needs
POS Operations
Phone & Email etiquette
Team Player, while having the ability to work autonomously
Ability to anticipate the needs of the shop
Strong Interpersonal skills
