Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapy sessions with clients using various therapeutic modalities from a client centered perspective
-Conduct clinical interviewing/admissions in the form of bio-psych-social assessments for level of care placement
- Facilitate group therapy sessions in the form of process groups, psychoeducational groups, team building, etc.
- Collaborate with other professionals, and the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
-Participate in family collaboration to teach/mediate family relations from a substance abuse standpoint
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work) preferred.
- Licensure or certification as a therapist in the state of practice.
- Experience working with individuals with substance abuse disorders.
- Knowledge of different therapeutic modalities and their applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
