We are looking to add to our talented catering & wholesale team to match our growing demand on UBC campus and across our other locations throughout the city. Reporting to the Commissary Chef, The Production Sous Chef is responsible for the day-to-day production and delivery of products. Working closely alongside our Commissary & Catering chefs, this role is pivotal in the healthy functioning of our wholesale division. The successful candidate will work well in a team setting and can execute daily wholesale and catering orders with poise.
We are an independent, young, family-run restaurant group that has had 9 years of high growth (minus a pandemic related interruption) with a pub, taco shop, three cafes, and a catering business which make up our portfolio. Our approach is not solely bottom-line driven, but rather we prioritize the quality of our food, the ethics of our ingredients, the experience of our work environment and the well-being of our staff as the drivers of our business.

Experience required:
Strong communication skills and desire to train and learn.
5 years in a kitchen environment
Driver's license required
A systems thinker who believes in consistency through procedure.
Culinary school training preferred.
Foodsafe Level 1.
Experience in both restaurant and catering is a plus.
A true love of food and this industry a must.
A valid drivers license with a clean record also a prerequisite.
