We are looking for a punctual and responsible individual who can care for clients in the Waukesha area and surrounding counties.

ShiftsWork as many or as few hours as you like. We have 1-12 hour shifts and also 12 hour shifts available.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patients with hygiene care as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
  • Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight, if necessary
  • Assist patients in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, document observed changes, report any changes to the Director of Nursing
  • Assist patients in walking, outdoor activities, etc
  • Develop and promote a safe environment for quality patient care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards
  • Ensure patient’s rights are adhered to

Requirements :

  • Preferably with one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience
  • CBRF certified
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Preferably with valid driver's license and car insurance
  • Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
