Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, fostering a love for learning from an early age.

Responsibilities

• Be able to follow the Abeka program that that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional growth.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing individualized support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness, ensuring all materials are accessible and safe for children.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Experience

• Proven experience in a classroom setting, particularly with preschool-aged children is ideal.
• Background in childcare or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other progressive educational philosophies is a plus.
• Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support to students is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for fostering a love of learning in young children through creative teaching methods.
