Opportunity for an Occupational Therapist
The Therapist evaluates the client, makes recommendations and completes a written report for each client. Typical recommendations are for sensory products, seating and positioning, and items needed for safety.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and hold a current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of California. Obtain and maintain Infant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid Certificate.
Must possess ability to read, write and understand English. Strong oral and written communication skills are a must. Must have ability to present information with clarity to all stakeholders orally and in written reports.
Knowledge and ability to work with mathematical concepts as appropriate to position.
Computer Skills: Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other programs as needed in position.
Possess knowledge and/or skills associated with early development, treatment techniques, assistive technology and developmental/medical needs of individuals with a variety of disabling or at-risk conditions.
Must work in an ethical and professional manner.
Demonstrates professionalism with a respect and sensitivity to differences.
Must be able to work collaboratively and independently.
Has analytical and problem solving skills
