As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality behavioral therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized treatment plans and support clients in achieving their behavioral goals. This position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those with behavioral health challenges.

Duties

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect and maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to client progress.
  • Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques.
  • Assist in developing care plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Monitor client behavior and provide feedback to the supervising BCBA for adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behavior changes.
  • Support clients in daily living activities while promoting independence.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.

Skills

  • Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices.
  • Knowledgeable in behavioral health principles, particularly related to autism spectrum disorders.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Ability to educate clients, families, and caregivers effectively on behavioral therapy practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
