Looking for a key team member for our handcrafted chocolate store. We are looking for someone like you. As a store associate in our artisanal store, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences. Whether assisting customers in-person or managing online orders, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere. With a passion for chocolate, enthusiasm for learning, and strong communication skills, you will contribute to the overall success of the store by ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting sales efforts. Additionally, you will handle business accounts, ensuring optimal service and that all orders are processed smoothly and efficiently. You will also be responsible for key operational duties such as inventory management, production supplies ordering, packaging final products, and supporting overall store operations.

Duties:

Customer Service:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Provide product information and guide customers in making informed purchase decisions.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure a positive and memorable shopping experience for all customers.

Sales:

  • Effectively promote and sell chocolate products both in-store and through various channels (phone, website, others).
  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
  • Utilize upselling techniques to maximize customer purchases.
  • Keep abreast of current promotions, new products, and special offers to inform customers.

Store Operations:

  • Manage point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store.
  • Restock shelves and displays as needed to ensure product availability.
  • Process online and phone orders, pack items for shipping, and coordinate timely deliveries.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, troubleshooting, and order-related issues.
  • Manage inventory levels, track stock, and order production supplies as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure that all supplies and ingredients are properly stored and rotated to maintain freshness.
  • Package final products according to quality standards and store guidelines.

Accounts Service:

  • Ensure optimal service experience and order fulfillment.
  • Process and track orders for business accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Provide catalogues, pricing information, and promotional materials to business accounts ahead of holiday seasons and special occasions.
  • Handle any order-related issues or concerns from business accounts promptly and professionally.
  • Generate invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing for business accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of business accounts transactions and communications.

Inventory Management and Supplies Ordering:

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of all products and supplies.
  • Place orders for production supplies, packaging materials, and other necessary items in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organized records of inventory and supplies orders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues.

Work Dynamic and Communication:

  • Collaborate with the chocolatier and other team members to ensure production plan fullfilment, convey customer preferences, feedback, and trends.
  • Effectively communicate with customers through various channels, including phone, email, etc.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
