High Tech Shades is experiencing phenomenal growth and is in need of installation professionals to help us expand.

High Tech Shades, a blinds and curtains store serving SF Bay Area, CA is looking to hire a Window Coverings Installer. This position is Full time and will be responsible in installing shutters, shades and draperies in customer’s homes and businesses.

Various duties while working in the shop include, but are not limited to:
Assembling shutter frames using cordless drills, nail gun, glue, saws.
Matching purchase orders with packing lists and invoices. Responsible for keeping shop and vans organized, neat and clean.
Sort and prepare customer orders for delivery and/or installation.
Organize and maintain inventory of parts and stock items.
Load van with orders according to job route.
Perform repairs on blinds, shutters, shades etc. Install and program motorized blinds and shades.
Drive the van to job locations.
Unload and carry goods into customer’s homes or businesses.
Explain to customers how to operate their new window coverings, including cleaning instructions.
At times you will need to watch product training videos.
Attend tradeshows.
At times you will need to troubleshoot and solve problems under pressure.
You must be able to communicate in an intelligent manner with customers.

Requirements:
Must have a valid California driver’s license and able to provide a DMV printout with a clean driving record.
Be able to pass a security background check
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Min. 2 years of Experience
Must have good handwriting.
Must be tech savvy.
Must be punctual, reliable and able to occasionally work overtime.
Must be skilled with hand tools, cordless drills, saws, levels, tape measures, various fasteners, etc.
Be able to climb stairs and occasionally work on tall ladders.
Be able to lift and carry boxes up to 60 lbs.
Must be neat in appearance at all times and must conduct themselves in a professional businesslike manner.
Must be detail-oriented and possess professional pride in their workmanship.
