<p>Retro Game Wolf is a furry and retro video game and board game store now open in Taylorsville. We are looking for 1 new PART-TIME associate to join our team to be hired ASAP. Shifts will generally be from 12-4pm with occasional evenings, estimated at 5-15 hours a week.</p><p>Our ideal candidate is someone fun, accepting, and willing to learn, because with your help we'll be able to build this business from the ground up. :) Video gaming knowledge/experience is required. (You don't have to have work experience in it, but you should be able to answer basic questions!)</p><p>Don't have experience in some of these things yet? No worries! We'll teach you everything you'll need to know and we promise it's pretty easy.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Pricing, tagging, organizing, and importing items into our POS system so they can be properly cataloged.</li><li>Cleaning and testing new items (aka get paid to play video games :) )</li><li>Setting up and moving shelves, fixtures, and product as needed to prepare for opening</li><li>Organizing products and supplies in an efficient manner</li><li>Answer any questions the customers may have in person or over the phone/text</li><li>Assisting in the acquisition and selling of new and used inventory from our customers both in person and online.</li></ul><p>Qualifications (REQUIRED):</p><ul><li>Friendly and accepting towards all customers and employees-- we love everyone!</li><li>Have a general knowledge of video games and consoles, especially retro</li><li>Responsible and proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments</li><li>Reliable transportation to Taylorsville/West Jordan</li><li>Pass a background check</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old to work with us (in order to help buy inventory per state law)</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications (not required, but it'll boost your paycheck!):</p><ul><li>Bilingual/multilingual: $1/hr higher for these individuals.</li><li>Previous video game store and/or retail experience</li><li>Retro Console Repair and/or modding experience</li></ul><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>All of our employees get 20% off every item we sell, right from day one on the job!</li><li>We respect our employees' religious and personal needs in scheduling and won't require you to work such dates (if given reasonable notice).</li><li>LGBTQ+ and furry friendly!
