We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with experience in acute care and pediatrics. This role involves developing and implementing individualized care plans to enhance patient recovery and improve mobility. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process, working closely with patients to help them achieve their physical therapy goals.

Duties

• Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and home community care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and modify care plans as necessary.
• Stay updated on best practices in physical therapy, including advancements in anatomy knowledge and rehabilitation techniques.

Skills

• Proficiency in developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices.
• Experience in inpatient, outpatient, acute care, pediatrics, and home community care settings.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
