<p><strong>“ Teaching Life Skills Through Fun And Games ”</strong></p><p><strong>Position:</strong></p><p>Chicago Area Manager [Aurora, Naperville, & Yorkville IL Areas.]</p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>Be the face of The Recreation Academy Chicago Branch! As an Area Manager you’ll be responsible for the coordination of staff, participants, equipment, and more for programs at our fantastic partner locations around the suburbs of Chicago</p><p>The ideal candidate will have experience leading groups of 10+ children in a professional setting, can communicate very well, and is extremely organized.</p><p><strong>Experience/ Qualifications:</strong></p><p>-3+ years working with kids</p><p>-Valid Driver's License and Insured Vehicle (you will be transporting equipment and need to make regular site visits)</p><p>-Experience in coordinating events/ Project Management</p><p>-Must have a clean criminal background.</p><p>-Be Responsible and Organized</p><p>-GREAT communication skills (you will be managing several people with direct support from the CEO and Business Development Manager)</p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><p>$20.00 / hour starting pay with a bump to $25 per hour after completion of your 5th program with us. (This position is a 1099 contracted position.)</p><p><strong>Expected Hours:</strong></p><p>The number of hours available for this position will start out limited with 2-8 per week. Part time hours (10-15 / week) are available starting in the Spring. Full-time (15-30 / week) becomes available in the summer.</p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><p>You may be required to regularly lift moderate weight. You will be active most days and once settled in will find a good pace to stay at.</p><p>You will be working remotely with management and directly with the clients, staff and participants.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for the running and management of the entire program with support from upper management. This includes:</p><ul><li>Facilitating programs on a regular basis.</li><li>Making sure that all activities scheduled run smoothly and are staffed appropriately.</li><li>Management and storage of all equipment (we will provide a location and access.)</li><li>Approving POA for staff members and ensuring programs run to our standard</li><li>Directly dealing with parents when needed</li><li>Emergency responses (we will clarify during interview about expectations.)</li><li>Other duties that will come up in the day-to-day operations of programs.</li></ul><p>[ALL APPLICANTS MUST COMPLETE AN APPLICATION THROUGH OUR WEBSITE TO SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW: <strong>WWW.THERECREATIONACADAMEY.COM/EMPLOYMENT]</strong></p>
