Rate: $35/ hr on W2 (All Inclusive)
Location: 1700 W. Washington Suite 210, Phoenix, AZ, 85007
Tentative Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (40 Hours/Week). OT Expected

Education/Training Highly Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+) are a plus.
Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Writer to join our Cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation for a variety of audiences, including technical staff, non-technical stakeholders, and end-users. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our cybersecurity policies, procedures, and systems are well-understood and properly implemented.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of different cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Experience with graphic design and multimedia development.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the cybersecurity field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe RoboHelp, or Microsoft Word.
- Experience with content management systems.
Work Experience Required:
- Develop and maintain a wide range of cybersecurity documentation, including:
- Policies and procedures
- System documentation
- User manuals and guides
- Training materials
- Incident response plans
- Security awareness materials
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team members to gather information and ensure technical accuracy.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and easy-to-understand language.
- Adhere to style guides and templates to ensure consistency and quality.
- Use a variety of authoring and content management tools.
- Manage documentation review and approval processes.
- Stay up-to-date on cybersecurity best practices and industry trends.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and FAQs.
- Assist with other cybersecurity-related tasks as needed.
Education/Training Required
Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
