Job Description

At Traxler Consulting, we help Houston Companies with their IT and cybersecurity needs. Because we’re growing, we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help support our growth. We’re looking for a results-driven representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Making phone calls to follow up on direct mail marketing. The number of phone calls will average 2.2x the number of direct mailers sent.
  • Cleaning contact data by internet scraping, and making outbound calls
  • Managing our company Excel file or HubSpot account with our raw list and clean list.
  • To call (follow up) on inbound leads to qualify and book consults.
  • 3-5% of the outbound calls should be “Correct Connects” (i.e. you spoke to the decision maker, or the person addressed on the mailer).
  • Recording the cleaning process, and follow-up phone calls for quality review (3CX recordings).
  • To make outbound calls to various lists of prospects as directed. This includes making the calls on the days they are supposed to be completed, according to that campaign’s cadence, scripts and process. 
  • To accurately track all activities (calls, contacts, scheduled appointments, sat appointments, etc.) and submit those reports by Friday, close of business, for that week. 
  • To confirm and concierge all appointments you book, as well as self-booked appointments assigned to you. 
  • To assist in qualifying, confirming and rescheduling self-booked appointments. 
  • To follow up on no-shows and cancellations to attempt to reschedule them. 
  • To keep detailed notes on calls and communications in our CRM. 
  • To use the CRM, appointment core, dialer and other technology. 
  • To complete all tasks set for you in the CRM on time and as directed. 
  • To be aware of all current mailings and promotions so you can answer questions when asked by prospects you’re calling on. 
  • To be a serious student of this sales playbook and process so you follow it to the letter, offering suggestions on how to make it better. 

 

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a phone representative making outbound calls
  • Basic computer skills including Excel
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Salary: 

Experience level: 2 years

Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay based on performance

Weekly day range: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
