Work Camper (Couple)

Seasonal, part time May -November, 2024

In search of a part time, seasonal working couple to assist with the front office, maintenance, and landscaping at Pine Haven Lodging in Rockerville, SD.

Pine Haven Venue & Lodging is a camp ground with 30 cabins and 30 RV sites  in the heart of the Black Hills in South Dakota. Pine Haven is located in close proximity to Rapid City, Mount Rushmore, and Custer State Park.

15-25 hours per week, per person

Assist in front office with answering phones, making online reservations, and email correspondence, general cleaning & laundry 

Welcome guests, troubleshoot, address issues in a respectful and timely manner

Perform basic maintenance and groundskeeping as needed to include but not limited to: basic carpentry, painting, staining, power washing, trimming weeds, mowing and garbage pickup

Implement daily/weekly/seasonal maintenance and cleaning protocols to include mowing, trimming, landscaping, garbage pickup, laundry, and various other campground upkeep tasks

Perform daily/weekly cleaning protocols of front office and shower house, with assistance from Lodging Management

Qualified candidates should be energetic, flexible, self-starters who enjoy staying active and working in the hospitality industry

Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check. Employee must be able to pick up items from the ground, carry items of 50 lbs., and stand for 4+ hours. Workers must provide their own RV/Trailer. Please include resume and 2 professional references with application.
