<p>Job Summary<br>As a Veterinary Technician and or assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting veterinarians<br>in providing medical care to animals. Your responsibilities will include handling and caring for<br>animals, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring the well-being of pets under veterinary<br>care.<br>Duties<br>Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgeries<br>Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood counts<br>Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian<br>Prepare animals and equipment for surgical procedures<br>Maintain accurate medical records<br>Educate pet owners on animal care and treatment plans.<br>Help maintain hospital facilities including cleaning cages, kennels, and exam rooms</p><p>Experience or Qualifications<br>Certification as a Veterinary Technician preferred but no required<br>Experience in animal handling and restraint<br>Basic knowledge of animal physiology and common medical conditions<br>Be able to lift 50 or more pounds<br>Strong desire to learn<br>Ability to communicate with clients and co workers</p>
