Fido’s Farm is a small play-based boarding and daycare dog kennel south east of Olympia. Dogs are outside in play groups 7-8 hours a day, every day.

We are looking for a hard-working, reliable individual for a full-time position. Hours are 8am-5pm; weekends and holidays are required. Starting pay is $16.50 an hour.

Kennel duties: supervise dog play groups, clean dog kennels, wash food and water dishes, feed dogs, scoop dog yards, teach dogs safety based skills and assist kennel lead with additional tasks. Lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Fido’s is a working sheep farm, so farm work will be required as well as working in all weather conditions. Farm work includes basic care and feed of the livestock, weed walking, mowing, basic fence maintenance, etc.

At least once year of professional canine experience is a MUST! We need an individual who understands dog body language, can effectively communicate with the dogs, and can safely handle dogs in all situations.
