We create custom-design individualized education services that are offered at our McLean’s headquarters. Our process of service is rooted in careful listening to families’ needs, conducting a comprehensive educational assessment, analyzing a wide range of data points, and creating a family strategic plan that addresses the family’s needs. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and teaching individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping children and adolescents improve their speech and language skills.
*Duties*
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Provide speech therapy to our community, including exercises to improve articulation and language skills
- Work with children on swallowing difficulties and implement strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with other healthcare and education professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Keep detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
*Skills*
- Proficiency in school-based speech therapy techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to speech therapy
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for speech and language disorders
- Understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to speech pathology
- Ability to assess patients' needs and provide appropriate care
- Experience working with pediatric patients is advantageous
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $95.00 per hour
