StretchLab is seeking Exercise Science Graduates, Personal Trainers, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Group Fitness / Yoga /Pilates instructors to join our team.  This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm. 

StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching.  StretchLab has gathered a team of experts already certified in an array of related fields including physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, Pilates, and more. StretchLab prides itself on having the finest team of stretching professionals.  StretchLab’s proprietary Flexologist ™ training ensures that their clients receive a world class stretching session. 

Our Flexologists will build programs and provide one-on-one assisted stretches for our clients. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions. 
  • Encourage and motivate clients throughout one-on-one stretch sessions.
  • Assist with offsite promotional events.
  • Grow StretchLab memberships and retain current clientele.
  • Love of boutique fitness environment required; passion for stretching, mobility. and flexibility is strongly preferred.
  • Strong social media acumen preferred.
  • Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele.
  • Ensure safety of clients regarding proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules.
  • Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Love of boutique fitness environment is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility. 
  • Preferred background: 
    • Exercise science/ health science / kinesiology graduates
    • Personal Trainer
    • Athletic Trainer
    • Physical Therapist / Physical Therapist Assistant
    • Pilates, Yoga, Barre, or Group Fitness Instructor
  • 1-2 years health & wellness field experience preferred
  • Must be available to successfully complete StretchLab’s Nationally Accredited Flexologist ™ Training Program and achieve certification.
  • Willingness to work weekends and ability to commit to approximately 20 hours per week in block scheduling (4-hour minimum shifts)
  • Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you are providing hands-on training with a client.
  • Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy.
  • Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
