Felony attorney position available at the Yuba County Public Defender's Office.
Minimum qualifications: Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California. Must be able to work full-time in Marysville, CA office (not remotely).
Primary job duties: Serve as trial attorney representing indigent defendants in Yuba County.
Additional duties: Interview clients in and out of custody, review and evaluate assigned cases, order investigation(s), negotiate resolutions with Deputy District Attorneys, legal research and writing, present oral argument(s) in court, represent client at all phases of the criminal case from arraignment to resolution/trial.
