WENHAM, MA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)—A loving, growing family seeks a warm, caring, and safety-focused FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY to care for their 3-year-old daughter and a baby boy expected at the end of December. The family highly values safety, trust, and excellent communication and is looking for someone who shares these values to become part of their home.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Their daughter attends school on Mondays and Wednesdays, returning home between 3:30 and 4 PM. Mom typically handles school drop-offs and pick-ups and takes her to afternoon activities on Thursdays. Until the baby arrives, the nanny will assist with running errands, organizing and preparing the nursery, and other child-related tasks while their daughter is at school or activities. After the baby arrives, childcare will become the primary focus. Pay is guaranteed for 40 hours per week, regardless of whether all hours are needed.
Mom will be on maternity leave for a few months after the baby is born. Both parents work from home in demanding careers and usually stay in their offices during the day. They have a small dog that stays in a separate part of the house, so no pet care is required. The nanny’s duties will center on the children's development, care, and safety. Responsibilities include actively engaging the children in creative activities that promote growth (such as puzzles and outdoor play), preparing nutritious meals and snacks for them (no cooking required), and light cleaning/tidying after the children.
Their daughter is outgoing, inquisitive, and full of curiosity. She loves reading, imaginative play, and building with blocks. Active and energetic, she enjoys swimming, soccer, gym class, and dancing. Art projects, coloring, and creating with stickers are some of her favorite activities. She’s a positive, upbeat child with excellent communication skills. Though strong-willed at times, she is always polite—a high-energy joy to be around!
They are looking for a warm, caring, and trustworthy nanny who prioritizes the children’s safety and well-being. Transparency, honesty, and excellent communication are essential. They seek a nanny who doesn’t just supervise but actively engages the children, fostering their growth as individuals. Vigilance, a strong sense of safety, and sound judgment are crucial, with safety as the top priority. The ideal candidate will have experience with both infants and toddlers, especially in caring for both ages simultaneously. The family values healthy habits and prioritizes how well their children eat (well-balanced, organic when possible), and the activities they spend time engaged in, limiting screen time and staying focused on fun, educational/purposeful toys and activities.
Must be fully vaccinated with Tdap, influenza, COVID, and a COVID booster. Pay for this position is negotiable based on experience. Benefits include paid sick days, holidays, vacation, and a healthcare stipend. The ideal start date is mid-September, but they are flexible for the right fit.
